turnmill y-axis

I am trying to make a part on our Hardinge Quest with y-axis. I need to mill a profile using Y and Z with a 2/3 of the part on the Y+ side and the rest on the Y-.

Can anybody tell me the correct settings for c-plane/t-plane, cview etc. for using the YZ plane when i post the part out? I have tried cview-cross-parallel, top view, left spindle, top turret. I dont get any Arc moves in my program. Just Y and Z movement. Or could it be something in the post? Hope that explains it. v8.1.1

Thanks

If it is a odd tool plane, you will have to create a custom setting and use it when you run tool paths(T/P button on the tooling page).

Sounds like we are postioning "C" axis and running a milling path?

Be sure and set the Misc page to "Y" axis if you want Y axis output, clyd interpolation output, or you will have to go to Axis substitution.

The Post does have an effect on this.

Send Me the file if possible if this is unclear, and I will try to help you out.
