I am running ver8.1.1 and i am having problems with the verification on all the contouring, pocketing,

and surfacing, ect. It will show drilling alright, but otherwise it might show constant gouging of a part or

it will show nothing at all. I never had this problem until out reseller gave us the latest update disc, it was fine

on 8.1, I know the tool path is correct because of using backplot. Any ideas would greatly be

appreciated. Thanks, Chad Fisher

I saw what you had done with stock defined, I have tried this and also used job set-up to define the material but it will not run some operations. I know the older disc we have works so i think i am going to dump 8.1.1 and go back to 8.1 and just download the up dates from this site. The odd thing is that it does it my computer and on another one that i had just installed it on. Our other computers here that still have 8.1 on them go through the verify with no problems. Oh well, I do appreciate the help, Thanks, Chad

Chad I suggest not going back words it is working fine here with 8.1.1.If you have other files please send.

I would like to help to figure out what is happening.

Do you have high speed at your desk on the computer you are doing this with?

I have another option to try it on your computer.

N FRANCO "You are the Man"! You were right i unchecked that and things work fine, in older versions in mastercam i think it would come up with constant errors saying cutter comp not succesful so in that case i new to uncheck it but that was long ago, so i guess i can be called the dork of day for thinking it was a software issue. I would like to thank Cadcam for trying to help me out on this i appreciate the help folks! Thanks, Chad
