Zoom problem

I got a new work computer and switched over all the config files and everything runs smooth except when i right click and go to zoom window.

What happens is that once i click zoom window and do the initial click, there is no visible white rectangle forming when i move my mouse, it will zoom but it seems like the rectangle that forms is transparent..Any ideas?

probably a video card problem. XP or Vista? what card do you have? what date of the video driver?

Windows XP, Just downloaded the latest driver.

Still no change.

as a test, try disabling the hardware acceleration under troubleshooting in the video properties. You should also turn off the Use unified back/depth buffer in the nVidia settings.

Did those 2 things and it is still the same result.

It also does this when i create, rectangle, 2points. it doesnt show me the rectangle as i drag my mouse all over the screen... think this may be just a color setting in mastercam? V9.

What version of driver did you installed?

 

The latest version on nividia.com seem to be 169.47 but if you check this link http://www.nvidia.com/page/partner_certified_drivers.html

 

The latest version for partner is 162.65.

 

If i had this prob, i would try this one.

If it is a Dell, I would suggest getting the actual NVIDIA driver, the Dell drivers "tend" to be dumbed down versions.

Also I beleive you want to set your video card profile to solidworks.

Installed the latest driver from NVIDIA, and switched the Anisotrophic Filter to "application controlled" instead of the defaulted "8X" setting. This cleared things up, thanks for letting me know it was a card issue!
