v9 editor change

in 9 i want to change the editor to other in the configure page. i click this and press the browse button to get my new editor and it errs out. path not found what may i not doing or seeing here? thanks for some help

V9 had some problems find exe's in folders that aren't in the Windows path statement. You can modifiy the Windows path statement thru Control panel-System-Advanced-Environment Variables-System variables-Edit. BUT be very, very careful not to damage the existing value. Go to the very end and add the path of your editor.

 

Version X allows for browsing anywhere to select your editor.
