advanced multiaxis toolpath question?

I am doing a 5 axis swarf output to 4 axis in our Haas mill. In between cuts its rapids (G0) in X,Y,Z,A at the same time to position for the next cut. The machine doesn't process these movements very smoothly. in fact I have slowed the rapid to 25% to keep it from shaking so much.

My question is is there a way to force a "map to highfeed" like in the HST toolpaths that will output G01 moves between cuts?

Hey Doug,

I've seen this before with those paths. Need to do it in the post. If you've got an mpmaster style post you can force G0 to G1 conversion in the control def.

If not, you need to get into the post and convert them yourself. (you can use the mpmaster method as a guide)

Thanks guys. I have been toying with the idea of redo-ing this post starting with mpmaster. This post is the gen haas 4 axis that has been updated from V9. I think this gives me a good excuse to finally start fresh with mpmaster for our haas mills.

Bryan I'll send a file to jeff on monday (I'm done for the week).
