ptailstock output

Hi guys,

When using the MPLFAN with Lathe Default machine/control, I'm programming a misc.ops Tailstock Advance and it's coming out before the pheader section.

Is there a way to get the output after the pheader section.

It's OK at the end of the program for the tailstock retract.

PS: Don't want to use the canned text or manual entry methods.

Thanks

I ran into this. If you program a point toolpath to move to some position as your 1st operation then it should correct the issue. I believe this problem only occurs when the misc op toolpath is programmed as the 1st operation in your program.

Hope this helps

Alex

Hey Guys,

The section that is being output before the call to pheader is designed to only output comments that a guy can read so that they can manually activate options on the controller. It does not contain the logic to enable M code output to the G code by default. To do this you need to modify the post quite a bit. I've done it for some customers before but it is quite a bit of work...

The canned text options are built right into the post and already work...
