Guys, i'm cutting medical grade stainless

with a .032 rough insert, depth of cut is .05, stock is .75 and is necked down to .2. the stock sits between centers. the old program is showing a depth of cut at .100 and a speed of 1273 and feeds of .024 per rev. I'm saying thats way too much as the part starts too flex as it gets down to .200 diameter any ideas of feeds and speeds that will take me down safely

start around 350 - 450 fpm for speed. Depends on the grade material you are cutting.

RPM limit (G50) 20% below chatter speed or you will have no tool life.

for a 35deg tool I would run .05 DOC with .01 or maybe up to .015 feed depending on the geometry you are using. For a 55deg tool you might just push the button with what ya got......
