  1. is am looking for a parameter in the controller that controls the output format for sending code back to the DNC. i have a controller that places 3 blank lines between the coded lines when it uploads back to DNC. Any help appreciated, thanks,phil

  7. I have to tap afew holes in 1018 using a 1/8-27 NPT tap. Doesanyone have a good feed and speed range for this tap. normally i would thread mill it but TPTB's don't want to do that so i'm stuck tapping.

  10. does anybody besides me remember the clear plastic cube that had the axis gnomon located in the center of the block. When one was learning how to use planes you could refer to the block by turning it around to find the right plane you wished to work on. any info greatly appreciated.

  12. do any of you guys have a risk assessment tool for quoting jobs. i am looking for a system that allows us to assign a number to a feature on a part so we can accurately assess the risk factors when making a part. right now i am running into situations were they demand a quick turnaround for a quote but then balk when we run into production issues because we didn't take the time to accurately assess the part.
