Welcome to the forum. smile.gif You may also want to update your version to V7.2C, which was the last point release for V7 before V8 was released. It doesn't cost a dime to update Mastercam from 7.1 to 7.2c, just finding that old software disk may be harder than updating to V9. Ask your reseller if they still have those disks. Updating software often improves the functionality and performance of the software, as you'll notice once the Win 2000 O/S is running.
