DRW files (ProE Drawing files)

Does anyone know of a translator to bring in .drw (ProE drawing files)into MasterCam????

The DRW file is only a flat print version of the true solid model (notes and stuff).

 

I've never tried to open one but think that a DXF of the file would be better. Email me the file and I will try to convert it in Pro/E and if successful - Mastercam.

We have been using a PRO-E translator very successfully since version 7. Ver 9 now has a built in translator available. The native import file for the cadcam-e translator from PRO-E is a .prt file. This will give you a solid to work from.

.PRT IS AWESOME. A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY BUT IT WILL PAY FOR ITSELF IN NO TIME AT ALL
