FBD vs. Solid Drilling

Did anybody else use the points generated in solid drill for creating an independent drilling operation? Do you realize with the FBD there are no points created? Would anybody like to see solid drill added back to X3? You can manipulate the FBD, but it is extra work you never had to do. I think they took a step backwards in this area.

YES! We use the points created from solid drill all of the time to create new toolpaths.

 

YES! I would like solid drill back in X3. I think that we lost a good tool when solid drill was removed. FBM drill is a nice tool also and has some good features.
