We recently purchased CamPro (KMT's private label RobotMaster) and I am trying to get up to speed and get programing for our robot.

 

my questions all stem from locating my trim fixture in the robot relative to Mastercam. And setting up the post to work proper ie. tool selection, spindle speed, spindle on, tool change.... the works

 

the post as setup out of the box is not putting out code that looks close enough to what we set up now by hand. To even try

 

The official training is coming up but we sure could use it right now.

Ok - I can see what's going on in your program and it's not too difficult to incorporate into the post (once you've done it a couple times.)

I can explain the output from robotmaster if it's not too obvious - are you familiar at all with customizing mastercam posts?

I see you're doing some part locating which then updates your userframe accordingly, and then some things like imperial values and tool changes - this will all definitely be do-able in the post. It may take you awhile yourself, so you may want to look for the post coming from KMT

Yes I have dome some customizing of posts... not a lot but some.

 

Again to date all programs have been hand taught and may or may not be "Proper" this was one of the first 3 or 5 machines RPT built.

 

We are having a web demo this Friday and the guy from KMT is going to help get the post tweaked and go though the full process.

 

If I need some additional help I would like to be able to call on your expertise.
