Has anyone created a simple MasterCam program for checking a 5-axis machine's repeatability? I understand the circle/diamond/square test is a standard for checking 3ax machines. Is there a similar standard for checking 5ax machines?

 

We have a 5ax router for trimming plastic parts. I would like to cut a simple test piece between runs to be certain the machine has not wandered out of "calibration". We can build a vacuum fixture for this or bolt directly to the table. We can use any variety of material, flat sheet or a block, etc.

 

How does everyone else check their 5ax machines? Thanks for your help.
