MPMASTER.PST (B) ROTATION ?

Finaly figured out how to program with b axis rotation. Thanks MC forum. Don't think I could have done it with out you. NC post looks great but I need two tweaks. I know enough to be dangerous but I thought I would ask the pros. Program reads: N170 G91 G28 Z0

N180 G90 G55

N190 B180

I need a G0 with the B rotation and the B has to be B0.0 B45.0 B180.0 and so forth. I'm running X3 with the new MPMASTER.PST off this sight on a Mori Seiki NH6300. Also wondering if pallet change is programmable? Thanks.

I use B axis rotate all the time I believe B0 is the front face of the part, when you get B180 are you machining on the Back face by chance?

Just to make sure I understand your question. You are getting the correct B rotations when you set up your toolplanes but you want your code to read:

 

G90 G55

G0 B0.0 or B180. etc with the decimal point

more info please....does the B axis not move in a rapid rate allready after you have called it in the previous line with the G28?...or have you not stipulated that in that line as of yet?

 

If not insert in there just before your G28

 

You might want to make sure that your height offset does not get cancelled when you spin around to the other side
