Rotary axis/Axis substitution/WCS problem.

I have a casting. I need to mill an edge around the whole part. I was told by my reseller to use rotary substitution. Well, I got the tool path looking properly in the static position on the screen. Problem is when I actually backplot it, it is rotated 90 degrees. It almost seems like its using the world home and not the WCS home. Does anyone know what is the problem?

Thanks

David

Did you check the "planes" dialog on the first page of your toolpath parameters? Perhaps it is fouled up there. Also in your backplot settings...do you have "Simulate Rotary Axis" and "Simulate Axis Substitution" checked?

I've had problems with the verify and backplot using 4th axis. When I drill holes, it shows the tool going THROUGH the part. When I post though, the code is correct. So check those things, and check the code too.
