X3 saving backup files

In X2 MR2 SP1 I had my back up files saving in the folder I create for each of my jobs.

No matter what, it saved the files in the proper folder without haveing to set it in the config file each time.

 

In X3 MU1,I cannot get it to do that even though I

have set everything in my config file the same.

It always goes to the last folder I set in me config file.

 

Where in X2 Mr2 SP1 and earlier, it would save to to the folder that I opened each MC file in.

 

Any Body know why this does not work the same in X3 MU1?????

Hi Rick

 

In your System Configuration > Files > AutoSave / Backup

 

check 'MCX Backup Files' and uncheck 'Use backup directory as defined in Files'

 

then the backup files will be placed in the same directory you opened the .mcx file from
