Hasp issues on Mac running Parallels?

My laptop is a mac and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If if doesn't work, the hasp never lights up. Hasp works fine on regular windows machines. Anybody know a trick to sort this out?

Thanks for the link...that thread went nowhere in a hurry. Still chasing some options.

If it helps anybody else, I can get everything to work if I do a full startup of windows. If windows is suspended when I shut down, things act up.

Try running the newest Hasp Drivers from Aladdin while in the Windows portion of parallels. Worked for me on my home Mac.

 

Edit: After looking at the other thread, I have an older Macbook.

 

From that other thread:

It seems that some of the hardware architecture with regards to the USB Port have changed slightly..... and as a result the Alladdin Device will not properly see recognise the HASP even though the Hardware is seen on the Parallels side. Solution... we went back to the older version still available in the 17" Mac Book Pro....
