High Speed Pocket Mill

I'm trying to use the High Speed Pocket toolpath to cut some obround pockets, but its really got me baffled! First, I can't get either the helix or ramp entries to work - the tool just plunges regardless of the settings. Also, I can't get the finishing lead in/out motions to work properly with "Control" cutter comp. What am I doing wrong?

Are you talking 2D High Speed Toolpath - Dynamic Mill or a normal pocket Toolpath? Normally the plunge ting is because the tool can not helix because parameters are set to high or the tool is to big compared to pocket size or the area where you enter the pocket. 2nd issue could also be related to where you enter your part compared to your lead in/out. if your settings are set to enter on midpoint and you have picked a small radius or something. If possible upload the file to the FTP so we can take a closer look, to many things could influence this to give a real good answer to your question.
