What is the difference between

 

Amount of last pass and finish pass allowance

 

In a thread threading toolpath.

One is the R value and one is the Q value in the line of code that reads G76 P010060 R20 Q20 Can't remember off hand which one is which.

Actually I suppose my problem is more a Lenguaje problem than a Technikan problem.

My question is what is the threading procedure in a threading toolpath.

 

The G76 Cycle turns from the OD to the final depth minus finish pass Allowance in rough passes and than turns the final pass (equal to allowance)

During the rough operation the last pass is Amount of last pass.

 

Is this correct???
