What happens when you try?

We have updated the support for DWG/DXF to support ACAD 2010 so there have been changes, but I haven't heard of any regressions.

Can you send me the date/time/size of at least one of the files in the CommonAcadData subfolder of your X4 MU2 install?

 

Note: the 'rescuer' is a last resort sort of thing that should be used when a DXF file was badly formatted (usually by a non-AutoCAD product) and completely un-readable.
