X4 MU post to run on version X

Hello to everyone.

We run Mastercam X, With 5 axis Quintax/Fa*or control 8055's.

The post never ran that good.

 

Friend of mine gave me a great running post for version X4mu.

 

Can i somehow downgrade this post to version X?

Rather not changeover to version X4. (high cost)

I dont think you can downgrade it, as they have added new features to the post engine, which are not compatible with older versions. Maybe your friend still has an older version of the post. If he upgraded from an older version, he might well have a backup of the olod post.

Try this method:

 

1. Make backup!

 

2. Open pst with text editor!

3. Delete first line!

4. Remove all $ char from source! (Replace command)

5. Save

6. Update post: Use UpdatePost.dll, set Updating FROM V9. MD, CD creation uncheck.

7. Open updated post, find errors!
