We just purchased a Komatsu T-Rex-FMS2-24 ...

(2)5-axis horizontal milling centers with Fanuc 31i M5 5-axis control ...

two setup stations ...

48 pallets ...

320 tools ...

coolant thru the spindle 270 psi...

 

 

all for just a mere $2,693,000.00

 

that's not counting our 2nd gantry - 3 spindles --- 5-axis 30' x 100' table ... due here about September ...

That's pretty darn cheap for two loaded 5 axis machines and 48 pallets.

Our machine is a kitamura My center HX430i with a tsudakoma rotary table. It came with the rotary table. We bought the machine used, 3 years old.

Can you give a description of the size/style of machine it is? I thought I was pretty well versed in new stuff, but never heard of a Komatsu!
