wcs making programs dirty

I have six wcs's created in the same file, they are on three blocks, one on the top and bottom of each block. I only have one program on the bottom side of each block. When I open up the wcs view manager, no matter what I do it dirties all three blocks bottom programs. The only thing I can think of is that I created the two lines in the center of the first block to use for the wcs and then copied them to the other two blocks. I then picked these lines to create the other two wcs's.

What's causing this problem? I also can't figure out how to keep mastercam from automatically changing wcs's when selecting differen't operation groups.

No answers for you....but I get the same thng happening from time to time. And for what it's worth, we've had files with as many as 50-60 added WCS and not had a problem, yet some with only a few will go dirty for no good reason that I can see.

I think you answered your own question. In certain situaltions Mastercam will struggle with duplicate GEO. I've seen this in toolpath also once GEO is coppied. I would avoid doing a straight copy, even if you translate it 5.0 then move it back it likely will break the associativity link. Another thing that can cause this, picking a point for origin and then trying to move the point, delete it, or copy it. mastercam can loose track of which point, at which point all hell can break loose. eek.gif
