Incremental R Value?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I am running (well, not me...) a Doosan Puma 400LM with a Fanuc 21iTB control.

When we are using the live tooling to drill holes (BHC's ect) the R on the drill cycles line is an incremental move to the start point.

So this:

X0. Z1. M8

G98 G83 Z-3.51 R-3.0617 F6.

Would result in the drill starting at Z-2.0617 and then drilling to Z-3.51.

This is really annoying and is really stupid to have it this way. Wondering if anyone knows how to make the R absolute like every other machine.
