tool error message

Hello all. Everytime I select a tool from my library I get an error message, tool or library can't be found. Something like that. I can't remember the exact message cause i'm at home. I can get the exact message later when i'm at work if needed. The funny thing is that after clicking ok on the error message the tool comes in & all is well, just getting sick of seeing the message & all the extra clicks. It also lags a little bit after clicking ok. I did update my library for X4 when it was installed, I think. I can't quite remember if that was needed or not but I ran the update utility & did everything my reseller & the X4 install manual said to do. That was a while ago but i've had the problem from X4 to X4mu3. It is an old library from V9 through X3 till now. This is a mill library. I did a search on the forum and found nothing.

Has anyone else seen this or know a fix?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I hazzard a guess your .TOOLs datapath is pointing to the X4millVMC1.TOOLS file but you may not have placed all your custom tool drawings and libraries in that location as well.

Or did you delete the ones that were in the X3 folder originally.

Something in the X4 tools library is still pointing to X3 folder for its tooling info, like tool drawings (.MCX)
