Raster to Vector

I downloaded Raster to Vector but cannot to seem to get it to run.

I get the help index, the sample files open but I do not see a .dxf converter in MC.

I ran the install twice and still nothing,

What am I doing wrong?? I'm using v8.1.1 on a Dell with windows 98.

Have you tried File - Converters - DXF.

Sorry, incorrect info given, the correct extension it should recognize is .bmp or .tif

I do not see it in the converter options or as a stand-alone application.

In Mastercam press alt+c. The Raster to Vector translater is a C-hook. It is called Rast2vec.dll. It will recognize *.bmp, *.tif, and many other graphic formats.

Hi TJ. I posted this on the other forum as well. You don't have to have the raster to vector c hook to bring bitmaps into mastercam if you have MS powerpoint and acad. Just past the bitmap into powerpoint, save as windows metafile, open the metafile in acad (insert), save as dxf, then go to mastercam, file converters, dxf.....
