Can't find files in XP ?

We have 2 users on the same PC running Windows XP. One of the users can login and all files are found in Ver 8.11 using "File" "Get". The other user can login under his login and only a few of the MC8 files are found when he goes to "File" "Get". This problem only occured after we upgraded to XP.

Any help would be appreciated.

when the other guy logs on check under exploer unto Folder options to see that Show Hidden files & folders is checked.

Hi Rocket,

 

When you want to open a file, change File Type (V8 mastercam*.mc8) for (All File *.*).

Only thing you need to do is to go in the control panel under folder option, view and desactivate hide extension for known files types.

I am having the same issue is there another way to fix this problem because it's a bit of an inconvenience when renaming programs and having to retype the ext.
