Best book on solids?

Can anyone give me their opinion on the best text to help teach solids with MC 9.1?

Have you taken a look at the Solids book on this website? Lin and Shue have a Solids book out too, though I haven't yet had a chance to take a good look at it.

I purchased the InHouse manual on Solids from this website. I feel it is an excellent reference for teaching Solids construction, but I do not recall any mention about toolpathing Solids

I am looking more for a reference. Since I am teaching hs and have a limited time frame to teach in, I generally do not use text books chapter by chapter. I am looking to incorporate a little more study work into my lessons rather than mostly drawing and cutting.

I would not reccommend the Lin and Shue book until they get the errors out of it. Typos are not the issue it is old, outdated, can't get there from here information that I'm talking about. I've been using/reading them since V5. so I have a little bit of history with them.

 

IMHO you're much better off with the In-House and/or Mastercam Handbook publications.
