deleting level names

On Occasion I need to merge or export then re-import ( iges ) surface files .

 

in doing so, allot of the times the level names are forworded : the surface comes through , but

all the level names from the previous mc8 file

come through. but no entities on thoughs levels.

 

is there a way to filter out level names or do a mass delete of the names.

One way is to do a File New to blank all Level names, then right click in the levels dialog menu and save a blank Level Template file. Then when you want to clear out level names from any file, you can just right click and select the Get Named Levels and pick that blank CSV file you made.

 

It will reset all the level names to blanks.
