The other day I downloaded the Metacut utilities to try out as well as Predator's editor...

Now I get "(manual Entry)" at the end of my programs that look like:

%

I looked in my post (Mpfan) and found a section that looks like this:

# Tool Comment / Manual Entry Section

# ---- frown.gif ----------------------------------------------------------------------

ptoolcomment #Comment for tool

tnote = t

toffnote = tloffno

tlngnote = tlngno

"(", pstrtool, *tnote, *toffnote, *tlngnote, *tldia, ")", e

pstrtool #Comment for tool

if strtool <> sblank,

[

strtool = ucase(strtool)

*strtool, " "

]

pcomment #Comment from manual entry (must call pcomment2 if booleans)

pcomment2

pcomment2 #Comment from manual entry

scomm = ucase (scomm)

if gcode = 1007, "(", scomm, ")"

else, "(", scomm, ")", e

What is it that I need to change to remove the Manual Entry thing?

Thanks for the help!

Jim

By the way I really like both editors

I don't know how downloading and trying out the MetaCut or Predator prodcuts would !change! your post output???

Have you (or someone) made changes to your MPFAN.PST ? Does these (MANUAL ENTRY) blocks

appear in EVERY program you post process?

Thanks for your response Roger, I think that its coincidental about the editors but that's the ONLY change that's been made. (I'm the only user) I even reinstalled the Mpfan post in a different folder and looked at it and it had the same manual entry parts in there too....

And yes it posts them in all programs now

Most curious

Jim,

MCU, when integrated with Mastercam, normally adds our tool definitions to the end of the posted code. This works in v9, but does not in 8, although the next release may fix this.

The option "Add MCU Tools to Operations Manager" is the checkbox responsible for this feature. The idea is to allow automatic definition of tools in posted code for use with MCU whenever you use the "Post" button in the Operations Manager, without any post modifications. It's invaluable in v9 smile.gif

Best regards,
