intel extreme graphic

Hi all,

 

Does any has any experience with the Intel Extreme Graphic on MC mill 8.11.

 

I just upgraded my motherboard to the Intel P4 G845GBV board with built-in Intel Extreme Graphic.

 

The problem is that after the upgrade, backplotting does not work properly. The tool does not show up constantly. It may only flash or not even show.

 

I wonder if this card is not support by MC or there is some tweaking I have to do to make it working.

Are you using an AGP graphics card or on board graphics that came with the mother board?

I am using the onboard video-Intel Extreme Graphic

Onboard video from any manufacturer such as Intel or SiS or even nVidia's nForce is very weak and are not suited for advanced 3D applications such as CAD/CAM apps like Mastercam. My suggestion is to purchase a dedicated 3D accelerator based on these recommendations and disable your mobo's onboard Intel Extreme video that's found on mobo's based on the i845GE, i845GV, i845G or i845GL chipsets.

Yep that will make a diffrence for sure.

Do a search on the topics of video to get some of the cards you might want to use.
