Converting to DWG problem

Maybe someone can help. We have never encountered any problems converting MC files to DWG/DXF untill today. One of my students added a lot of drafting notes to the geometry, along with the title blocks and dimensions. When we convert to DWG or DXF the file reads into Autocad "jumbled" for lack of a better term. Like I said, we have never had a problem before until today. Anyone else experience similiar problem? Or anyone know of a fix, or suggestion of what might be wrong? Using MC9SP1.

Thanks in advance..

Hi!

You can do a lot of things.

1. try to save in lower versions of dxf or dwg like ver14.

I`ve checked it and it is OK.

2. If that not helps then put your notes ,dimensionsan so on on separate layer and do this

Modify->break->draft/line.

it will break your notes to lines and you will see

them for sure only they will be of entIty type LINE.

3. If this not helps get Intellicad2000 the autocad clone free of charge .

It does this type of things better then Autocad and a lot more.

If you know Autocad it will take you 30min to start working max.

Simple and fast.

Open your DWG or DXF in it and save with it.

All will be O.K.

I love IntelliCad - it awesome . cheers.gif
