COMMUNICATION DEFAULTS

I am trying to communicate with a HAAS VF2 via com 1 on the computer and the RS 232 port on the cnc machine. For some reason i can not get the mastercam defaults to stick. It keeps finding a baud rate of 300. Can any one tell me how to set the defaults to: 9600 baud, even parity, number of data bits to 7 and synchronization to none so that it comes up every time like this. Thanks allot

Screen,configure,communications. Set them to what you want say ok and save the config. file.

True, but if you want the parameters on this screen to be used - you need to Un-Check this option -> Read PST parameters (q.80-89)
