I have upgraded to SolidWorks 2003. Mastercam can no longer open the .sldprt native solidworks files. I beleive it is because solidworks is using parasolid version 14 and mastercam is at version 13. Does anyone know when mastercam is going to go to version 14 parasolid? Can anyone verify this? Does anyone know a work around? Thanks allot Bill

I am trying to communicate with a HAAS VF2 via com 1 on the computer and the RS 232 port on the cnc machine. For some reason i can not get the mastercam defaults to stick. It keeps finding a baud rate of 300. Can any one tell me how to set the defaults to: 9600 baud, even parity, number of data bits to 7 and synchronization to none so that it comes up every time like this. Thanks allot Bill
