Plotter Configuration

I would like to use our HP design Jet 530 to plot drawings. Is there a protocol to follow to set up the plotter to work with Master Cam? The plotter is on our network.

Just use the Windows driver for that plotter for the computer that is hooked to the plotter.

Share the printer/plotter to make available to your Mastercam computer.

In Mastercam set your Plot function to use the Windows driver.

make sure you have the most recent driver from hp for that plotter. You can get it from there website. I have had a terrible time getting my plotter to work correctly. I'm using a DesignJet 350C. I've found the best way to print things off on my plotter is do File/next menu/ hardcopy, as opposed to screen/plot.
