Is there a converter I can purchase to convert .bmp, .jpg, etc. And bring them into MC?

Raster to Vector by CAMAIX.

Check with your dealer.

I use it once in a while for "artistic" customer requests. It works as well as anything could considering the information fed in. GIGO, applies now the same as it did when I was writing Fortran in the 60's.

The raster to vector converter is probably what your looking for...you can open those files, and just about any "graphically" supported file type. .tif,.jpg, etc.

Jammer if you are running V9 then you will have the install disk.

you will find the option when installing mastercam to install the raster to vector software.

 

Now you will need codes to make it run.

this you will get from your dealer.

Mastercam now owns the rights to this add-on as I know as of last year.

 

But just so you know the software is now included on the disk for V9.
