Resetdlg C-Hook

This C-Hook might come in handy to those who have notebooks and sometimes use an external monitor or those who have a dual-monitor setup. Eventually, you may run into the situation when your File|Get dialog (or other dialogs) won't appear on your screen when your external monitor is no longer attached. I whipped up this C-Hook that resets the screen locations of all Mastercam v9.x dialogs whose positions are stored in the Registry (File|Get, Levels, etc).

 

Simply run the setup (resetdlg.exe) and the installation will attempt to detect your Mastercam installation folder. If it detects the wrong folder, select the correct folder and "Next" your way through the installation.

 

You can run the C-Hook manually (it's called resetdlg.dll) or you can create a button in Mastercam to do so. I've included a BMP file in the installation (in the /Common/Icons folder) called resetdlg.bmp that you can use if you choose to set up a button. Enjoy!
