Chook for reading the Mastercam(.mcx) file

Hi,

 

I am developing chook for reading the existing mastercam(.mcx) file. but while reading the file am getting the message boxes saying "corrupted or invalid file, contact mastercam dealer". how to aviod this message. am using the read_ent(...) function. and also i have problem with reading the solid entities information in the file.

This message sometimes comes up when you are trying to read newer file formats with older software. (i.e. an X3 file with X2 software)
