Art Streaming

Does anybody know how I can stream an art post to our router and handshake with the comp ?

the file is to big for the mem on the router .We are using an onsrud router and have simco editer as our streamer . Any tips would be appreciated .

In the CIMCO Editor in the Transmit settings make sure you have the Wait for XOn turned on. Open the file you want to stream/drip to the machine and start the transmission from CIMCO. Then at the machine you will have to find out how to start in stream/drip feed.

 

The only other tip I can give you is on some machines you have to hit cycle start to initiate the code being sent from the PC.

 

In a perfect world the XON/XOFF will handle it from there.

Try run the router in DNC mode.

In my shop ,the operator will run in DNC once the NC file is oversize.There is one computer with CIMCO editor by the side of machine. Operator can pick up file from share drive.
