  1. Ajmer, thanks for your reply. I don't want change control def. What i want is just slow down The Rapid Moves on the end of the program(reference). Is there ant other way?
  2. Hi,There: Because of the problem of the machine,I can't run the program in full feedrate before finishing the program. That means I want The machine moving to reference in Feederate of 40.Can I make it by just change program manually ? Thanks for any suggestion. Eric P
  3. I had worked on plastic for three yrs. With some experience, but a lots of questions. single o flute bit is good for a lot of company but never good for this one I work in last three yrs.Last month I joined to a large plastic company(with 12 cnc router). In this company 90 per cent part was done by single O flute (up-spiral)bit. In my old co. why it doesn't work? I think it's base on feederate. Before my feederate is about200-300,but the new co, is about 120ipm.Any points? I always try to get rid of small tool for plastic but the new workplace 90% was done by less than 1/4" bits. confuse..... Need some instruction. Eric P
  4. Down spiral bit is not good chice.Cut all outside and three inside (leave one inside, two pass)all through one pass.Cut slot along the norrow frame on spoil board,it will hold the piece.up-spirl bit will lift the piece,my experience is up-slow spiral bit. Eric P
  5. One yr ago i did same job ,I took 3/8" finisher(slow spiral) 200ipm. Keep one side two pass(first pass 1/32 material remain).Sigle flute spiral bit is good ,but never good on that router(i dont know why).On my new company, it's very good. Eric P
  6. Add G61(-exact stop) may help Eric P
  7. Try run the router in DNC mode. In my shop ,the operator will run in DNC once the NC file is oversize. There is one computer with CIMCO editor by the side of machine. Operator can pick up file from share drive. Eric P
  8. Want to upload this file to FTP site.Follow the instruction on forum site, but failed. Can anybody give some detail insruction to finish up-loading. Thanks Eric P
  9. Thanks Ron, Rickster. So sad,no any back-up. Very simple drawing ,but size was approved.I don't like save any paper file.Mcx file is the only one. First time know MCx2 has backup feature. Hope to get some messages Eric P
  10. Before open the file, in preview window there is the geometry.Once open, you get nothing. Rush!!! Eric P
  11. Hi,guys: Open file, get warning: drafting entity contains forward pointer- associativity removed. All geometry gone.Anybody know what happen and how to recovery the geo. Thanks
  12. Good points,Michael. If cutting through the plexi, holes for example,O Flute works good.On pocket the O flute cannot give you a flat bottom. There is always a bump on centre because of no cutting edge on centre, and i can't add the overlap to clean it. 1/2"pocket cut by 3/8"bit to save machine time.I try to find some new bits for plexi with full flat end (tips). So far haven't get it. I appreciate any recommendation. Thanks for your reply. Eric P
  13. Thanks Colin,you solve my problem. C-plane should keep in D-Z always,am I right? Eric P
  14. Thanks Michael and John. You means spraying some light oil mannualy. After finishing the parts, how long it takes to clean them? It's easy or difficuty? I only can try some single part.If we run hundreds of part no time to spend on cleaning. Thanks again Eric p
  15. Hi,guys: There is an Komo router in our shop. This router machines tons of plexi everyday.I had no experience on plaxi before i came here one year ago.Luckly i sovled most problems ,there are some still left.Hope get some instructions. My questions are: 1.Run small size round pockets on acrylics, abs,or styrene. It's very difficulty to get an clean and nice bottom. What kind of tool could solve it,no sticky and nice bottom? 2.Want do some engrave job on Plaxi, the feature size about 3"x2" ,1/32" depth.any suggestion? Thanks Eric P
