commication problems

tryin to send hein cnc with fanuc controller.ive been using master v9.1with cimco for about 3yrs. on this machine.problem started yesterday morning cimco shows file being sent and completed but the machine never gets it.stiles machinery says its not a machine problem because im recieving no errors the machine is waiting on the file.but i'm also getting no error from cimco either installed a new serial port tryin the remedy it but it didnt.any help or ideas would be appreciated

is the program protect key turned on?

Could be that the cable got nicked or cut ... check the cable.

 

Try receiving a file from the CNC to your PC ... does that work?

 

You can use a loop-back device to test the cable all the way to the CNC.
