running from the hard drive on mazack fusion control

The easiest way is to call the HDD program as a sub, otherwise you have to run in TAPE mode. You call the HDD program the exact same way you'd call a regular sub. If your HDD program number is O2000, your sub call will be:

M98P2000

Here are the steps to making this work:

After you post your program, strip the % signs from the beginning and end, and remove the program number (Oxxxx).

Save your file as programnumber.eia . For example, if you want it to be program number O2000, save it as 2000.eia

If your program number is lower than 1000, do not put a leading zero. For example, if it's program number O0030, just save it as 30.eia

Drag your program into the MC_Direct Mode Programs folder on the hard drive. To check and see if it worked right do this:

With the softkeys from the main Fusion screen, go to Program>Program File>Directory Change>HDD Operation Programs>OK, and you should see your program on the list. If it's the only file in your MC_Direct Mode folder, it will be the only file on the program list in that directory.

That's all there is to it! Only crappy part is, you can't see the program that's running. :( If you go to the EIA Monitor page, or open the Program Monitor, you'll get a display alarm. It doesn't hurt anything. The alarm will go away after the HDD operation is complete.
