  1. I cant for the life of me remember how to run a program from the hardrive on a mazack fusion control.
  2. In that case may I stand on the edge of the circle.
  3. So, PC DMIS, OMV, OR PRODUCTIVITY PLUS. I will check into these. I realize machining centers are not cmm's, but I could see a use for this application. I'm also not ruling out the portable cmm's like master3dgage.
  4. What’s everyone using for there inline inspection @ the machines. Verisurf, or something else. I'm looking for a solution to help alleviate quality’s workload. I understand that some parts have to be check by quality, but it seems to me that allot of the parts can be checked in the machine, and then verified by manual checks @ the machine. We have renishaw probes with inspection plus. But none of the programmers use it.( Training) Have any of you implemented system to help with this. I could wait almost three days sometimes for a 1st piece. Thanks
  5. Try adding? if B > 360, B = (B-360) if so then where would I add it. I've made some very minor edits before, so your a little over my head.
  6. I'm not following. I dont see this code in the post.
  7. This is all I could find. Is this somthing I could add? # Rotary Axis Settings # -------------------------------------------------------------------------- vmc : 0 #0 = Horizontal Machine, 1 = Vertical Mill rot_on_x : 2 #Default Rotary Axis Orientation, See ques. 164. #0 = Off, 1 = About X, 2 = About Y, 3 = About Z rot_ccw_pos : 1 #Axis signed dir, 0 = CW positive, 1 = CCW positive index : 0 #Use index positioning, 0 = Full Rotary, 1 = Index only ctable : 5 #Degrees for each index step with indexing spindle use_frinv : 1 #Use Inverse Time Feedrates in 4 Axis, (0 = no, 1 = yes ) maxfrdeg : 2000 #Limit for feed in deg/min maxfrinv : 999.99#Limit for feed inverse time frc_cinit : 0 #Force C axis reset at toolchange ctol : 225 #Tolerance in deg. before rev flag changes ixtol : 0.01 #Tolerance in deg. for index error frdegstp : 10 #Step limit for rotary feed in deg/min # -------------------------------------------------------------------------- #Rotary/Index variables csav : 0 #C saved value prvcabs : 0 #Saved cabs from pe_inc_calc, #Used for rotary feed and direction calculations cdelta : 0 #Calculation for angle change rev : 0 #Calculation for deg/min sav_rev : 0 #Saved revolution counter indx_out : c9k #Rotation direction calculation fmt 16 indx_mc #Rotation direction calculation clamp : 0 # cabs_5 = cabs - 5 #Dummy move for backlash #Vector Constants for Rotatary Calculations aaxisx : 1 #A axis rotation vector constant aaxisy : 0 #A axis rotation vector constant aaxisz : 0 #A axis rotation vector constant baxisx : 0 #B axis rotation vector constant baxisy : 1 #B axis rotation vector constant baxisz : 0 #B axis rotation vector constant caxisx : 0 #C axis rotation vector constant caxisy : 0 #C axis rotation vector constant caxisz : 1 #C axis rotation vector constant #Feedrate calculation variables frdelta : 0 #Calculation for deg/min frinv : 0 #Feedrate inverse time frdeg : 0 #Feedrate deg/min actual prvfrdeg : 0 #Feedrate deg/min actual ldelta : 0 #Calculation for deg/min, linear cldelta : 0 #Calculation for deg/min, linear and rotary circum : 0 #Calculation for deg/min ipr_type : 0 #Feedrate for Rotary, 0 = UPM, 1 = DPM, 2 = Inverse thanks
  8. we just change the each tool offset to h1 d2 it post that out, and everything is fine.
  9. I've found similar but not specific enough information for me to figure out how to change the b output for a makino pro5 machine. I would like the outputted code to be between 0 and 360. I currently get code, which is above that 480 and so on. I thought maybe through the control def, but that doesn’t seem to have any effect. Is this a post edit? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated. If it is a post change this is the post header. thanks seth # Post Name : MPMAKINO-A81 # Product : MILL # Machine Name : MAKINO A88E # Control Name : FANUC PROFESSIONAL 3 # Description : MAKINO A88E MILL POST # Associated Post : NONE # Mill/Turn : NO # 4-axis/Axis subs. : YES # 5-axis : NO # Subprograms : YES # Executable : MP v9.0
  10. Yeah I've got that same answer from a few people. Do you know what type of tool clamping mazak uses? I’ve been told that there are several ways that machine manufactures use. Ball bearings on the retention knobs, and others use some type of collet lock on the retention knobs. I’ve seen the ball bearing type leave big impressions on the retention knob, and was told not to buy a machine, which uses this type...
  11. Hey Dave how do you like your 510c machine....Was thinking about picking one up.
  12. Hey I was having the same problem. Thanks Gunther. Well at least you were nice enough to give us a draw( Instead of what you did to the English.) Lol
  13. I use the E0 x0 y0 to send the table to the part change position. Like stated above move the table to where you want it to go. Then type setx, then sety. Now whenever the control reads e0 x0 y0 it will go to that position.
