DWG files change when Imported

I have a problem with my dwg files changing when they are imported into MC. I have a customer that sends me dwg files. When I open them in MC X2 it doesn't show changes that he has made to his drawings. But I can open them in V9 and his changes are there. I think I have my setting wrong in my config or settings page that is causing the problem. Do you guys have any idea what I need to change so I don't have to open all of his files in V9 in order to make sure I'm not missing his updated measurements or changes.
