sorry also i have no tools in my operation import box so now i'm really stuck

This may help you

1. Copy the Version 8 tool library and text file to the C:Mcam9MillTools directory. (ex: TOOLFILE.TL8 and TOOLFILE.TXT)

 

2. Rename the Version 8 tool library(TOOLFILE.TL8) to have a TL9 extension. (ex: TOOLFILE.TL9)

 

3. Choose NC utils, Def tools, Compress from the Main Menu.

 

4. Select the TL9 file that you renamed and choose Open.

 

5. You are prompted when the compression is complete. Choose OK. You can now select this file as a tool library in Version 9. (It may take a minute to compress)

i'm going to try this again the way you said but i have been doing that over and over unless i'm doing something wrong. thank you for your fast response i will let you know how it all came out.

no go i still can't get any tools in my operation import box and when i click get from library i keep getting that same error.
