4TH AXIS POSITION MACHINE SIMULATION

The generic machine model in simulation has the 4th axis on the left, how do you get it on the right.

I'm not sure if there's an "easy" fix for that. As far as i know, they're built off of stl models. you would probably have to open all stl models to get an "assembly" model in mcam, then reposition the axis you want. Then, the settings, axis locations, rotation centers, etc... would have to be reset to their current positions and locations. It's a lot of peckering around, but worth it, in my opinion.

Build your own machine model and set-up simulation exactly like your machine. Its a lot of work but well worth IT.

we have a machine drawn in solid works and saved as an stl! how did u load the stl into the simulator? as all the simulation files have .xml file extension.

You need to build a new machine or replace an exhisting machines components with your own geometry. I think there is some basic info in the help section within simulation that can get you started.

I made a VMC with the rotary on the right, and have copied it to the FTP site.

file name is "MachSim-Haas_VF2a.zip" and it is in the folder "X5_Files"

this is a Haas VF2 with HRT210 rotary.

The SolidWorks assembly is also included.
