what's the point of MCX5 MU1 allowing the user to select check surfaces in some of the new high speed tool paths and then turn around and disregard them in back plot or verify. bites me every time

This suite of paths uses checks as drives. These are different paths from teh Legacy paths and they do function a bit different.

 

That is just how these have worked from the beginning in X MR2

Using contains and depths can help stay from area you don't want.

 

These paths are worth the extra work on the front end, almost ALL of my cutting is now done with these paths.
