I would also like the operator to be able to access and open the hard drive files (from a pc) in an editor and be able to make changes and save the changes.

 

You and me both, but I have not been able to find a solution to allow for this.

The FTP programs mentions do the job for file mgmt, but unless I am missing something, Cimco (or any editor that I have tried), will not save to an FTP folder.

 

What I am looking for is to be able to post directly from Mastercam, to the FTP folder, and have the file open in an editor.

 

Or am I missing something here?
