Cutter comp?

I need a refresher on how the cutter comp setting work with MX5. How do these effect the verify? Which one do I use for 0 dia tool so I can use the center of the tool with cutter comp on? I have Mazaks 510, 200 C/B. I believe I can put 0 dia on my matrix and older controllers.

1.) Computer..... No need to put a dia in the machine controller right?

2.) Control..... Have to put half the dia of the tool in control right?

3.) Wear... not sure what this does

4.) Reverse wear... not sure here either

5.) Off...Cutter comp off uses center of tool.

The Wear comp does a mix of computer comp as the coordinates are already compensated for the tool radius by the software, but it also calls the G41/G42 command to be able to compensate for the tool wear (the difference between the tool radius programmed and the real tool radius). As Chris mentionned the reverse wear works the same way but for machine that doesn't accept negative offset.
