That's because those files have already been created. The machine & control defs are located in the C:\McamX2\cnc_machines\ folder. Isolate the machine & control def files you would like to update and then use the update folder utility in the file drop down. Specify the type of file you would like to update, tell the utility where the files are then make certain that the files get located to the correct folder.

 

If you are using Windows 7 or Vista

The .mmd and .control files go in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\Shared McamX5\cnc_machines\ folder.

 

If you are using Windows XP

The .mmd and .control files go in the C:\Documents and Settings\ All Users\Shared Documents\Shared McamX5\cnc_machines\ folder.
